Ida Hume

Ida Louise Prunty Hume, age 83 of  Sweeden, died Wednesday October  26, 2011 in Bowling Green. She was born in Edmonson County to the late  Ernest Owen Prunty  and  the late  Palistine Lindsey Prunty and married to the late Cecil S. Hume.

She  was a  homemaker, foster grandmother  and a member of Kyrock United Baptist Church.

She is survived by four sons, Mike Chambers (Linda) of Bowling Green, KY, Timothy Hume of Sweeden, KY,  Terry Hume (Vickie) of Shelbyville, KY and Bo Hume of Granbury, TX; two daughters, Debbie Freitas of Woodland, CA and Angela Rowden of Bowling Green, KY; two brothers, Joe Prunty (Shelby) of Florida and Johnny Prunty of Mammoth Cave, KY; two sisters, Kathy Dismon (Larry)  of Bowling Green, KY and Katie Hendricks if Louisville, KY; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Chambers; two brothers, Dallas Prunty and Milton Prunty and two sisters, Gladys Patton and Carrie Cummings.

Burial will be in the  Kyrock  Church Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Patton officiating.
