Howard Courtney

Howard Courtney, age 51, of Brownsville, KY, died Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Medical Center at Bowling Green in Bowling Green, KY. He was a member of the Sunny Point General Baptist Church.

He was born in Louisville, KY April 10, 1958 to the late Howard Courtney Sr.

He is survived by his wife Linda Courtney of Brownsville, KY; one daughter: Dr. Erica Courtney Gillette (Jason), Indianapolis, IN; one son: Bradley Thomas Courtney, Brownsville, KY; three sisters: Joy Highbaugh (Kent), Salem, IN; Julie Thomas (Nate), Salem, IN; Marlene McDonald, Louisville, KY; four grandchildren: Cheyenne Courtney, Ava Gillette, Dawson Courtney, Landon Josiah Gillette, mother-in-law: Mary Hardin.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Courtney and father-in-law, Robert Hardin.

Bro. Damon Lashley and Bro. Jason Gillette will officiate with burial in the Sunny Point Church Cemetery.
