Helen Louise Huffman, age 94 of Bee Spring, departed this life on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at her residence.  The Simpson County native was born on September 2, 1926 to the late Henry and Ida Weidemann.  She was married to Elmer Dale Huffman, who preceded her in death.

Ms. Huffman retired from Edmonson County Schools as an educator in 1988.  She was a member of Brownsville Missionary Baptist Church, Edmonson County Historical Society and the Green River Order of Eastern Star.

She leaves to honor her memory— one son, Clyde Huffman (Deb) of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; three grandchildren, Chad Huffman (Alison), Christina Mills (Brandon Alba) and Shannon Daniel (Paul); eight great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; caretakers, Stella Newton and Michelle Miller Casey and her special friends, Cathy Rigdon and Becky Saltsman. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Perry.

Interment will be in Brownsville Cemetery.
