Helen Freeman

Helen Arlene Freeman, 89, of  Brownsville, KY departed this life on Sunday, January 12, 2014 in Bowling Green, KY.  The Southard, OK  native was born on  October 12, 1924 to the late John Chism and Emma Helen Milwee Chism  and was the wife of the late Edwin L. Freeman.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Jerry Freeman (Sue) of New Jersey,  Jeff Freeman of Chalybeate, KY and Jay Freeman (Laura) of Brownsville, KY; three daughters, Jean Johnston (Red) of Arizona, Janet Gould (Glenn) of California and Jackie Freeman of New York; one brother, Jim Chism of Tennessee; two sisters, Gail Hansen and Lita Phillips both of California; one daughter-in-law, Connie Freeman of New Mexico; eighteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one son, Larry Freeman.

The family chose no visitation or funeral service. Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
