Harvey Tarter

Harvey Thomas Tarter, 99 of Cedar Springs, passed away January 5, 2015 in Glasgow. He was a retired farmer and a member of Cedar Springs United Baptist Church.

The Louisville native was born October 18, 1915 to the late Sam Tarter and the late Mirtie Keith Tarter and was the husband of the late Stella Mae Harp Tarter.

He is survived by two sons, Thomas Tarter and special friend Dorothy Beeler, and Ervin Tarter (Diane) both of Cedar Springs; one brother Leon Tarter, Smiths Grove and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Aleen Compton & Bernice Ray and a brother, Wilbur Tarter.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Malcolm Doyle and Bro. Junior Cooke with burial in the Lambert Cemetery.
