Harold Lindsey, age 79, of Brownsville, KY departed this life on Monday, April 18, 2016 at his residence. The Edmonson County native was born on February 13, 1937 to the late Homer and Maggie Jane Johnson Lindsey. He was married to Mary Lynn Lindsey, who survives.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Oak Grove United Baptist Church.

Besides his devoted wife, he is survived by five daughters, Vhonda Oliver (Mike) of Bowling Green, Belinda Sue (Randy Crumpton) of Summer Shade, Sandra Kay Doyel (Donald) of Cave City, Vickie Lynn Lindsey of Cave City and Marieia Lindsey Johnson (Henry) of Marietta, GA; one son, Shawn Lindsey of Brownsville; two brothers, William J. Lindsey (Linda) and C.D. Lindsey (Sheila) both of Brownsville; five sisters, Bonnie Lindsey of Brownsville, Betty Watt of Pine Grove, Schirlene Young of Brownsville, Martha Poteet of Brownsville and Virginia Burns (Albert) of Georgia; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Mark Allen Lindsey, one sister, Margaret Jackson and one brother, Jimmie Andrew Lindsey.

Interment will be in Johnson Cemetery with Bro. Vernon Johnson officiating.
