Guy Wilson

Guy L. Wilson, age 88 of Pine Grove, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2007 at his residence. The Edmonson county native was born March 11, 1919 to the late Elvis Wilson and Bessie Lucas Wilson and married to the late Edith Houchin Wilson. He was a Deacon at Pleasant Grove (Miller Hill) Missionary Baptist Church, World War II National Guard Veteran and a farmer. He is survived by three daughers, Laverne Garner and husband Michael of Louisville, Lois Houchin and husband Wayne of Louisville and Barbara Holder of Pine Grove; one sister, Dorothy Mills of Wingfield; eight grandchildren, Kirby Harper, Robbie Harper, Tim Harper, Penny Watson, Sandra Houchin, Joanna Duvall, Robert Garner and Michael E. Garner, Jr.; eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Services will be conducted by Bro. Jerry Patton with military rites by Nisbet Alexander VFW Memorial Post # 6937 at Pine Grove Baptist Church cemetery.
