Gladys Webb

Gladys Vincent Webb, age 90, of Sweeden, KY, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2013. The Edmonson Co. native was born on May 2, 1923 to the late Silas and Mary Musick Vincent.  She married the late Fred W. Webb on April 5, 1939 and was devoted to him until they were departed by his death on April 18, 1982.

She was a housewife and a member of Sweeden Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by four daughters, Jackie Farris (Ranny) of Bowling Green, KY, Judy Fuchs of Tell City, IN, Lottie Houchin (Tommy) of Chalybeate, KY and Lori Anne Duvall (Bryan) of Bee Spring, KY; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by an infant son, Fred Alan Webb and two grandsons, Mark Houchin and Kyle Houchin.

Burial will be in the Sweeden Church Cemetery with Bro. Jerry B. Patton officiating the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sweeden Cemetery, c/o Chester Carroll, 7704 Blackgold Road, Sweeden, KY  42285.
