Georgia Herald

Georgia Mae Herald, age 88, of Winydville, KY, departed this life on Monday,  November 3, 2014, at Glasgow, KY. She was born April 1, 1926 in Edmonson Co., the daughter of the late Ruben Ashley and the late Alene Coates Ashley and  was the wife of the late Ruben Herald. She was a factor worker at Kellwood Mfg. and Firestone and was a member of New Home General Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons, David Herald (Anleise) of Virginia, Roger Herald of Texas and Bernard Herald (Angie) of Cave City, KY; one brother, Harold  Ashley (Elizabeth) of Windyville, KY; seven grandchildren, Jeffery Herald, Jeremy Herald, Jody Herald, Cassie Herald, Cameron Herald, Callie Herald, Caden Herald and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Ruben, Jr. and Sol Edward Ashley.

Services will be officiated by Kendall Nelson with burial in the New Home Church Cemetery.
