George Minor

George Woodford Minor, 86, Cave City, KY, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013 in Bowling Green. The Hart County native was born on May 26, 1927 to the late Fred and Millie Dennison Minor and was married to Frances E. Minor of Cave City.

He worked as a carpenter and a farmer and was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

Besides his wife he is survived by five sons, Elvis G. Minor, Leslie L. Minor, Melvin D. Minor, Gilman J. Minor (Carol) and Scot R. Minor all of Cave City, KY; two daughters, Peggy L. Burnett (Steve) of Cave City, KY and Nancy A. Robertson of Edmonton, KY; one brother, Bobby Joe "Orville" Minor (Helen) and one sister, Geneva "Big Sis" Briggs of Cave City, KY; daughter-in-law, Annette Minor of Cave City, KY; twenty two grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. He is also preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth R. and Garrett F. Minor.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Billy Vincent with burial in the Cave City Cemetery.
