Geneva Decker

Geneva L. Vincent Decker, age 84 of Bee Spring, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2009 in Brownsville. She was born August 25, 1924 in Edmonson County to the late Dave and Fannie Moutardier Vincent and married to the late Ben L. Decker. She was a nutritionist for UofK extension agency and a housewife andwas a member of New Salem General Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter; Linda Spainhoward (Frank) of Sweeden; one son, Benny Decker (Karen) of Brownsville; one brother, Charles H. Vincent (Louise) of Louisville; ten grandchildren, Sheila Still (David), Eric Spainhoward (Lesley), Aimee Luis (Rodrigo), Ailson Sanders (Charles), Andrea Decker, Brandon Prunty (Lera), Jenny Spainhoward, Rebecca Brewer (Charlie), Bridget Beville (Jonathon) and Brad Spainhoward; twelve great grandchildren and one brother-in-law, Oval Decker. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Sue Prunty, one son-in-law, Jerry Prunty and several brothers and sisters. Services will be officiated by Bro. Brent Basham and Bro. Randy Meredith with burial in Salem Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Salem Church Cemetery.
