Genell Smith

Genell Janes Smith, age 78 of Cave City died Wednesday November 16, 2011 at her residence. The Adair County native was the daughter of the late Alta and Mae Tweedy Janes. She was a retired hand sewer for Handmarker Manufacturing and a member of Basil Chapel United Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Buford T. Smith of Cave City; one daughter, Pat Hatcher (Dwayne) of Cave City; one son, Gary L. Smith (Billie Sue) of Horse Cave; one sister, Shirley Coomer (Harold) of Glasgow; one brother, Elwood Janes (Donna) of Bowling Green; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Tommy Jackson, Bro. Danny Dickson and Bro. Ronald Renfro with burial in the Cave City cemetery.
