Everette Cox

Everette J. Cox, age 84 of Cub Run, passed away Monday, August 17, 2009 in Bowling Green. He was born January 7, 1925 in Edmonson County to the late Ed Cox and the late Ellie Kerr Cox and married to Wyvon Trautmann Cox. He was a member of the Cub Run Masonic Lodge #910, a member and deacon of Cherry Springs Missionary Baptist Church, worked as a maintenance supervisor for Mammoth Cave National Park and was a WWII Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Wyvon Trautmann Cox of Cub Run, KY; two sons, Ronnie Cox (Barbara) of Cub Run, KY, Gerald Cox (Teresa) of Munfordville, KY; one brother, George Cox of Bryant, OH; six sisters, Ruby Ramsey of Cave City, KY, Ora Denton of Horse Cave, KY, Mary Jones of Park City, KY, Lucy Logsdon of Cave City, KY, Edith Logsdon of Cave City, KY, Hazel Hunt of Cave City, KY; several nieces and nephews; nieghbors and friends; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; four step great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Melvin Lee Cox and one sister Ethel Meredith. Services will be officiated by Bro. Keith Sanders, Bro. Leland Childress and Bro.
