Elton Crowder

Elton Harrell Crowder, 79, of  Dahlonega, GA, formerly of Brownsville, KY, departed this life on Sunday, August 31, 2014 in Cumming, GA.  The Edmonson County native was born October 25, 1934 to the late Blue and Lillie Mae Higgs Harrell and was the wife of the late Willard T. Crowder. She was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Grove General Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Dora Johnson (Wallace) of Bee Spring, KY, Joyce Fields (Bernard) of Dahlonega, GA and Mary Jo Vincent (Edgar) of Brownsville, KY; one son, Travis Crowder of Brownsville, KY; one stepson, Charles Crowder of Brownsville, KY; eight grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; several step great-grandchildren; five great-great -grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one step daughter, Gaye Blue and one great-great grandson, Landon Johnson.

Burial will be in the Sweeden Church Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Patton officiating.
