Ellen Saltsman

Ellen "Peggy" Saltsman, age 77 of Bee Spring, passed away Sunday July 25, 2010 in Bowling Green.

She was born October 6, 1932 in Edmonson County to the late Samuel and Lula Ann Carroll Farris and married to the late Bro. Dillard Saltsman.

She was a homemaker and a member of New Salem General Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Kathy Turner (Harvey) of Bowling Green, Retha Meredith (Coy) of Bee Spring and Nancye Saltsman of Hendersonville, TN; one sister, Eula Vincent of Brownsville; daughter-in-law, Louise Saltsman Glass; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Bailey Saltsman; two brothers, Hubert and Lloyd Carroll; two sisters, Truly Vincent and Helen Russell.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Jerry Patton with burial in the Salem Church Cemetery.
