Elizabeth Lay

Elizabeth  Lay, 80, of Big Clifty, KY, passed away Friday, February 10, 2012 in Big Clifty, KY. The Edmonson Co. native was the daughter of the late Owen Campbell and the late Mae Johnson Campbell and wife of the late Leonard D. Lay. She was a housewife, caregiver and nanny for many children and a member of Campbells Chapel United Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Dolores Logsdon (Darrick) of Big Clifty, KY; two  grandsons, Travis D. Logsdon (Amy) of Big Clifty, KY and Chad D. Logsdon (Krissy) of Snap, KY,; one great granddaughter,  Holly Elizabeth Logsdon of Big Clifty, KY; two great grandsons, Ty Anthony Logsdon of Big Clifty, KY and Hunter Chad Logsdon  of Snap, KY; she was like a mother to Tina  Adcock and a grandmother to Jessica Adcock and Quentin Adcock; three brothers, Wayne Campbell (Jannie) , Danny Campbell (Margie) and Dallas Campbell (Kathy) all of Brownsville, KY; four sisters, Edna Denham of Brownsville, KY,  Ethel Campbell ,  Jeanetta Cowles (Bobby)  both  of Louisville, KY and  Geretta Ray of Brownsville, KY.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Billy Campbell and Bro. Vernon Johnson with burial in the Oak Grove Church cemetery.
