1932 - 2015

Elba D. Carroll, 83 of Brownsville, KY passed away Thursday,  September 10, 2015 at his residence.  He was born in Edmonson County, KY on  May 11, 1932 to the late Acie Carroll and  Annie Cooke Carroll.  He was owner of Carroll’s Used Cars and a member of  Midway United Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Browning Carroll of Brownsville, KY; two sons, Glendel Carroll (Lynn) and Bradley Carroll (Miranda) both of Leitchfield; two daughters, Patty Logsdon (James) of Anneta and Joyce Alford (Alvin) of Brownsville; one brother, Randall Carroll (Lee) of Bee Spring and one sister, Texie Coley of Chalybeate; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Lindsey; great grandson, Logan Richardson; four brothers and three sisters.

Interment will be at Midway Church Cemetery with Bro. Jonathan Lindsey, Bro. Todd Cassidy and Bro. Roy Hogan officiating.
