Edward Murl "Mr. Ed" Madison, 87, of Rocky Hill, KY, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011 in Bowling Green, KY. He was born December 17, 1923 to the late Walter Ray Madison and the late Julia Kate Rigsby Madison and was the husband of the late Geneva B. Madison and Violet Wells Madison of Brownsville, KY. He was a retired IRS Agent, a WWII, Army Veteran and a Purple Heart Recipient and a member of Park City United Methodist Church. He is also survived by two daughters, Doris Emerson ("Tiny") of Rocky Hill, KY and Judy Besser (Gary) of Elizabethtown, KY; one sister, Jeanette Coates of Bowling Green, KY; one grandson, Michael Edward Emerson (Nikki) of Radcliff, KY; two step granddaughters, Jammie Alford and Kimberly Wells; one great grandson, Jonathan Dennis; two step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Horace "Rocky" Madison and Maurice Madison and one sister, Marguerite Combs. Burial will be in the Rocky Hill Cemetery with Bro. Paul Frederick and Bro. Calvin Bond officiating.
