Edward Gonterman

Edward Ogene Gonterman, age 78 of Mammoth Cave, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010 in Bowling Green. He was born April 25, 1932 in Edmonson County to the late Edward B. and Lula Highbaugh Gonterman andmarried to the late JosephineH. Gonterman and is survived by his wife Nora T. Gonterman of Mammoth Cave. He was a retired fork lift operator for Durkees Famous Foods, press operator for Alcan Aluminum,Korean War Navy Veteran, member of Cub Run Masonic Lodge #910 F&AM and Union Light Missionary Baptist Church. He is also survived by two sons, Randy Gonterman (Pam) of Mammoth Cave and Stanley Gonterman (Karen) of Louisville; twin sister, Orene Logsdon of Cub Run; two grandsons, Neil and Mark Gonterman of Louisville and several nieces and nephews. Services will be officiated byBro. Ronald Renfro with burial in the Locust Grove Cemetery. Masonic service will be7:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
