Edith Thompson

Mary Edith Thompson, age 89 of Park City, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2007 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. The Cumberland county native was born July 8, 1917 to the late Barton and Alta Davis Philpott and wife of the late Irvin Thompson. She was a homemaker and a member of Park City United Methodist Church. She is survived by one son, Richard Thompson and wife Rita of Fraser, MI; one daughter, Lou Ira Salley and husband Clyde of Park City; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Nagle, Mary, Greg and Mike Thompson, Heather Melnyk, Randall and Russell Salley and seven great grandchildren. Services will be officiated by Rev. Greg Gallerher with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery in Park City. Memorial contributions can be made to Park City United Methodist Church P.O.
