Duel Poteet

Duel E. Poteet, age 76 of the Anna community, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2008 at his residence. He was born May 30, 1931 in Edmonson County to the late John Sherman and Estella Scruggs Poteet. He was a retired commercial carpenter for Unistrut in Indianapolis,a Korean War Army Veteran, a member of the Carpenters Union Local # 748 and American Legion. He is survived by his wife Nell Poteet of Anna; three stepdaughters, Kathy Basham (Jerry) of Brownsville, Tereasa Bishop (Ira) of Mooresville, IN. and Pam Richmond of Bowling Green; three sisters, Deloris Wingfield, Marie Cassidy and Dorothy Myers all of Bowling Green; seven step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be officiated by Bro. Carson Howard with military service at the kinser Cemetery.
