Dr. Rhonda Ann Patterson, age 51, of Brownsville KY departed this life on Friday, May 19, 2017 at her residence. The Carthage, MO native was born on September 19, 1965 to the late Ronald Ray Patterson and Patricia Steeley Streng of Crossville, TN.

She was a professor of Biology at Western KY University and Southern Mississippi University.

Besides her mother, she is survived by one brother, David Patterson (Vickie) of Austin, TX; one sister, Elizabeth Schneider (Steve) of Kansas City, MO; one nephew, Ian Schneider; four nieces, Erin Zimmerman (Tim), Meredith Schneider, Marilyn Robinson and Priscilla Robinson.
