Dottie Vincent Elmore

1936 - 2022

Dottie Vincent Elmore, age 85, entered into rest on Saturday, May 21, 2022, with her family by her side.   The Kyrock native was the  daughter of the late Luther and Levada Beck Collard.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Kelly Vincent, as well as her second husband, James E. Elmore.

Dottie was a charter member of Barfield United Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia, but in her later years attended Poplar Springs United Baptist Church.  She was a former member of the Green River Order of the Eastern Star. Dottie was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her family.

She leaves to honor her memory— three children, Belinda Lindsey (Bill Bob) of Brownsville, John Kelly Vincent (Carolyn) of Bowling Green, and Jeffrey Glenn Vincent (Stephanie) of Westport, Tennessee;  seven grandchildren, Andrea Webb (Jason), Stephanie Bullard (David), Jessica Vincent, Victoria Nicole Vincent, Bailey Rae Vincent, Jennifer Evans (James) and Shannah Willis (DeShawn); ten great-grandchildren, Dalton, Callie and Carter Webb, Addison and Brycen Bullard, Ashten Taylor, Lauren Tresler (Scott), Madison Evans, Tatum and Hadleigh Willis; a great-great grandson, Hunter Howard; and a sister, Brenda Kabler of Midlothian Virginia.  She was preceded in death by six siblings; James, Junior, Arthur, Maburn, Murriel and Jewel.

Interment will be in the Poplar Spring Church Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to:  Poplar Spring Cemetery Fund or Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
