Dorothy Myers

Dorothy M. Myers, age 84 of Brownsville, passed away Friday, April 3, 2008 in Bowling Green. She was born November 12, 1924 in Edmonson Co. to the late John Sherman Poteet and to the late Estella Scruggs Poteet and was married to the late Vaugh O. Myers. She was a homemaker and a member of Beaver Dam United Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, James F. Smith (Carol) of Glasgow; one daughter, Vickie Sanders (Eddie) of Cub Run, KY; one sister, Marie Cassady of Brownsville; two grandchildren, Michael Smith (Lesley) of Brooklym, NY, Matthew Smith of Harbor Springs, MI; two great grandchildren, Cassidy Smith of Greenfield, New Hampshire, Jasper Smith of Brooklyn, NY. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ernest Poteet, Bill Poteet, Duel Poteet andTom Poteet; two sisters, Delores Wingfield andOpal Poteet. Services will be officiated by Bro. Todd Cassady with burial in the Kinser Cemetery.
