1933 - 2022

Doris Jane Davis, age 89 of Mammoth Cave, departed this life on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at her home. The Edmonson County native was born on November 12, 1933 to the late Forest M. and Pauline Pearl Rich Sanders. She was married for sixty-four years to her best friend and caregiver, Roy Neal Davis.

Doris didn’t seek public employment but was a devoted wife to Roy Neal and mother to son, Bradley Joe Davis. She was a member of Union Light Missionary Baptist Church.

Besides her husband, Roy Neal, she leaves to honor her memory several nephews and nieces. She was also preceded in death by her son, Bradley Joe Davis.
