1948 - 2022

Donald J. “Donnie” Wahman, age 73 of Louisville, peacefully departed this life with his family by his side on Friday, July 1, 2022.  The Anderson, Indiana native was born on September 15, 1948 to the late Bernard and Dorothy Ripberger Wahman.  He was married to his best friend and devoted wife of forty-eight years, Kathy Whalin Wahman, who survives.

Donnie retired after thirty-two years as a tool and die maker with Stauble Machine and Tool Company.  He was a member of Zion United Baptist Church, and a former member of Robinson-Plumb Lodge #266 F&AM.  Donnie had a heart of gold, and always wore a smile.

In addition to his wife, Kathy, he leaves to honor his memory— two sons, Jeremy Wahman (Theresa) and Joseph Wahman, all of Louisville; two brothers, John Wahman (Linda) of Phoenix, AZ and Frank Wahman (Jan) of Indianapolis; one sister, Kathy Carroll, North Canton, OH and his adored grand pups, Bella and Lucy.  He was also preceded in death by his in-laws that he loved as his own, Wanda and Robert “Pop” Mason and his step-mother, Margaret Wahman.

Interment will be in Sweeden Church Cemetery.
