Donald Elmore

Donald L. Elmore, age 88 of Florence, KY, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2009 in Erlanger, KY. He was born March 15, 1921 in Louisville, KY to the late Rev. Ezra and Simi Pearl Stevenson Elmore and married to the late Dorothy Peak Elmore. He was a retired Senior Chief Supply Store Keeper for the U.S. Navy, World War II Veteran, Past Master of Good Faith Masonic Lodge #915 F&AM, a member of Fleet Reserve Branch #028 Association and Florence Baptist Temple. He is survived by three sons, Keith Alan Elmore (Pat) of Vancouver, WA, Michael Wayne Elmore of Florence, KY and David Brian Elmore of Independence, KY; two brothers, Richard Elmore (Osie) of Louisville and Jessie Elmore of Windyville, KY; three grandchildren, Brian, Will and Rose Elmore and one step grandson, Randy Gibson. Services will be officiated by Bro. Jimmy Dockery withmilitayr rites at the Antioch General Baptist Church. Masonic service will be 7:00 pm Tuesday at the Brownsville Chapel.
