Dennie Sanders

Dennie L. Sanders, age 78 of Anneta, passed away Friday, March 4, 2011 in Leitchfield, KY.  He was born September 23, 1932 in Edmonson County to the late Delbert and Elburtia Constant Sanders and married to the late Oma Duvall Sanders.  He was a retired meat cutter from Armour Foods in Louisville, KY; a deacon of Jock United Baptist Church and a member of Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge #355 F&AM.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Sanders of Anneta, KY and Rickey Sanders (Lisa) of Mammoth Cave, KY; three daughters, Margaret Langdon (Ricky) of Anneta, KY; Shelia Decker (Raymond) of Anneta, KY and Tammy Ashley (Brian) of Anneta, KY; three brothers, Easol Sanders (Erma) of Leitchfield, KY; Osa Sanders of Louisville, KY and David Sanders (Linda) of Louisville, KY; five sisters, Polly Goins (Charles) of Bee Spring, KY; Rachel Haycraft (Eugene) of Anneta, KY; Nathel Haycraft (Bill) of Anneta, KY; Delores Jones (Richard) of Brownsville, KY and Gail Johnson of Mammoth Cave, KY; eight grandchildren, Jamie Saltsman, Joanie Woosley (Chad), Jessica Culbreth, Bradley Langdon, Robin Langdon, Heather Sanders, Chrystal Logsdon (Nick) and Meredith Sanders and six great grandchildren, Cameron, Taylor, Breanna, McKenna, Jax and Scarlet. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Mollie Kersey and one great grandson, Riley Jacob Decker.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Malcolm Doyle, Bro. Jerry  Patton, Bro. Richard Minton and Bro. Kenny Decker with burial in the Jock Church Cemetery.
