David Glenn Ragar

1946 - 2015

David Glenn Ragar, 68 of Brownsville,  passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015.  The Simpson County native was born on November 8, 1946 to the late Chester Ragar and Louise Blewett Ragar. He was married to Rosemary Carder Ragar who survives.

He worked as a forklift operator for Kendall Manufacturing and was a member of Macedonia General Baptist Church

Besides his wife, he leaves to honor his memory, one daughter, Dorthy Ragar of Brownsville, KY; one step son, Joie Meredith of Park City, KY; one brother, Wayne

Ragar (Sue) of Franklin, KY; three sisters, Ann Goostree of Franklin, KY, Betty Groves (Mark) of Franklin, KY, Kay Durrett (Kevin) of Cottontown, TN; six grandchildren, Craig Meredith, Tasha Meredith, Dalton Meredith, Colton Meredith, Natalie Meredith, Glenn Tolbert.

He was also preceded in death by his stepson, Randy Meredith and three brothers, Joe, Don, and Jerry Ragar.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Jerry Spainhoward with interment in Oak Hill

Cemetery.
