Darrell Priddy

Darrell Wayne Priddy, age 62 of Chalybeate, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008 in Bowling Green. He was born June 7, 1945 in Edmonson County to the late Pleas Priddy, Sr. and Anna Laura Gilliam Priddy. He was retired from maintenance at DESA International, a Marine Vietnam Veteran, a deacon at Chalybeate United Baptist Church, a member of Edmonson County Lions Club, Nisbet Alexander Memorial Post # 6937 VFW and the DAV. He is survived by his wife, Stella Evon Pierce Priddy of Chalybeate; two daughters, Lora Whitfill and Jennifer Turley and husband Donnie of Chalybeate; five grandchildren, Nikki, Sierra and Chase Turley, Alexis and Cameron Whitfill; honorary son, Paul Blanton of Chalybeate; four brothers, Pleas Thomas Priddy, Jr. of Bowling Green, Robert T. Priddy of Chalybeate, Roger Priddy of Bowling Green and Bobby Priddy of Rockfield; four sisters, Genova P. Vincent, Vasta Lewis, Deneise Vicic and Debbie Oliver all of Bowling Green. He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Michael, Thomas, Henry, James and Vernal Priddy. Services will be officiated by Bro. Steve Doyle and Bro. Howard Decker with graveside services by Nisbet Alexander Memorial Post #6937 at Kinser Cemetery.
