1946 - 2016

Darlene Sturgeon Snawder, age 70, of  Cave City, KY, departed this life on Friday, October 14, 2016 in Cave City. The Barren County  native was born on July 4, 1946 to the late Grover and Gracie Brooks Sturgeon then met and married her true soulmate Ronnie Snawder and God gave them 53 years together.

Darlene was a retired manager for Days Inn and a member of Servant Valley United Baptist Church.

She leaves to honor her memory her husband, Ronnie Snawder of Cave City, KY; one daughter, Nova Michele England (Robert) of Smiths Grove, KY; two grandchildren, Jamie England (Hannah) of Russell Springs, KY and Kimberly Jones (Kevin) of Smiths Grove, KY; three great grandchildren she dearly loved, Ashley Jones, Anna Jones and Adaline Jones and three special friends, Gail Shonschack, Helen Hatcher and Lenell Word.  She was also preceded in death by one brother, Randall Sturgeon.

Interment will be in  Cave City Cemetery.
