Curtis Duvall

Curtis Duvall, 91, of Radcliff formerly of Sunfish, KY, died Monday, August 10, 2009 in Radcliff.  The Edmonson Co. native was a maintenance man and gardender for Gold Vault Inn in Radcliff and  was retired from Seaboard Coastline Railroad  as an inspector in Miami, FL.

He was the son of  J.T. and Bennie Duvall and was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Alberta Duvall. Curtis was a WWII Navy Veteran  and a member of  St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Sunfish, KY and the American Legion.

He is survived by daughters, Frances Ensing and Barbara Fitzhugh; son, James C. Duvall; seven grandchildren, Chris , Stephen and Curtis Ensing, David Highsmith, Charlene Lonsberry, James Moran and Meredith Duvall; Thirteen great grandchildren, Rachel , Abigale , Emily , Amanda , Nathan  and  Michael Ensing, Jennifer Meredith, Madelyn Highsmith, Stevie , Renee, Audrey , Mia  and Joelle Moran; one great great grandchild, Kayleb C. Gray. Other survivors include his long tine companion, Billie Ann Williams of Radcliff and her children, Roy and his wife , Lee Anne, Utona and her husband Glenn, Regina and her husband , Jim; nine grandchildren, William, Regan, Roy IV, Noah, Ryan, Samuel, Luke, James and Raven, whom he loved and cherished as his own family; two brothers, Bill and Lawrence Duvall; six sisters, Catherine Duvall, Frances Heath, Rose Gaddis, Mary Davis , Martha Durbin and Sr, Mary Evelyn Duvall.

Visitation  will be 11:00 am CT, Wednesday, August 12, 2009 and 9-10:30 am CT Thursday at the Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel. Prayer service will be 7:30 pm CT Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 11:00 am CT at St. John The Evangelist  Catholic Church  with burial in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church cemetery or Hosparus , 3532 Ephraim McDowell Dr., Louisville, KY 40205
