Cova Logsdon

Cova A. Logsdon, age 95 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009 in Louisville.

She was born November 1, 1914 in Edmonson County to the late John and Donia Duvall Lashley and married to the late Elmer L. Logsdon.

She was a retired teacher and librarian for Clarkson School and Jefferson County Schools. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and Kentucky Education Association.

She is survived by two sons, Louie Logsdon (Alice) of Leitchfield and Richard Logsdon (Victoria) of Corydon, IN; one daughter, Patsy Durbin (Bill) of Louisville; Eight Grandchildren and Twenty One Great Grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Richard Terry Logsdon, Jr..

Prayer service will be at 6pm Thursday at the funeral home. Services will be officiated by Father Randy Howard with burial in the St. John Cemetery
