Clyde Carroll

Clyde Carroll, 89, of  Anneta, KY, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012  at his residence.  He was born  April 4, 1923 in Pery County, KY to the late  Joseph Carroll and the late  Gipsy Farris Carroll and the  husband of the late Irene Carroll.

He was a  retired Fire Control Chief for US Navy during WWII, Korean and Vietnam War,  Civil Service for Ft. Knox and  Chief of Security  at  Twin Lakes Regional Hospital,   member of  Leitchfield American Legion, VFW Post 1495 and Jock United Baptist Church.

He is survived by three daughters, Donna Brooks (Ronnie) of Bee Spring, KY, Billie Jo Rich (Clifton)  of Bee Spring, KY and Glenna Higgs (Jamie)  of Anneta, KY; two sons, Jesse Robin Carroll (Sherry)  of Bee Spring, KY and  Jeffery Edwin Carroll (Tara)  of Anneta, KY; two sisters,  Louise Stinnett (Dewey Ray) of Anneta and America Jane  VanMeter of Martin, TN; twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one grandson, Jonathan Allen Carroll.

Burial will be in the Jock Church Cemetery will full military rites at the graveside with Bro. Daniel Oller officiating.
