Clifford Ray

Clifford Ray, age 92, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2007 at Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green. He was born December 1, 1914 in Edmonson county to the late Samuel and Tisha Hazelip Ray and married to the late Naoma Lottie Rountree Ray. He was a farmer and a member of Beaver Dam Chapel United Baptist Church. He is survived by one daughter, Pearlene Blanton and husband Britt of Brownsville, three sons, Morton Ray and wife Carlene of Chalybeate, Clifford Thomas Ray and wife Brenda of Brownsville and Gary Ray and wife Regenia of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters, Mary Denham of Brownsville and Chloie Pierce of Chalybeate; one daughter-in-law, Ann Ray of Brownsville; thirteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one son, Leo Ray. Service will be officiated by Bro. Wayne Nolan with burial in the Kinslow cemetery.
