Christine Meredith, age 79, of  Clarkson, KY, departed this life on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Grayson Manor in Leitchfield, KY. The Hart County native was born on May 13, 1936 to the late Mart and Nettie Gardner Webb. She was married to the late Robert Meredith.

She was a retired cook from Aid Acres and a loyal housewife. She was also a member of Broadford Missionary Baptist Church. Christine got saved when she was 13 years old in a little house on Nolin River down by an old iron bed.

She is survived by three sons, Robert “Hank” Meredith (Rita) of Clarkson, KY, Colman

Meredith (Lottie) of Clarkson, KY, and Ottie Meredith (Jan) of Cub Run, KY; three daughters, Wilma Oldham (Eddie) of Clarkson, KY, Karen Roof (RT) of Clarkson, KY, and Charlotte Clark (Kevin) of Elizabethtown, KY; two brothers, Roland Webb of Clarkson, KY, and Melvin Webb (Helen) of Shepherdsville, KY; one sister, Virginia Logsdon of Clarkson, KY; thirteen

grandchildren and twenty nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother Warren Webb.

Interment will be in Broadford Church Cemetery.
