Chris Richards

Chris Richards, age 58 of Bee Spring, departed this life surrounded by his loved ones on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Edmonson County native was born on June 25, 1966 to the late Bennie Earl and Ruby Lavonne Richards. He was married to his best friend and soul mate, Chrise Nichols Richards, who survives.

Chris worked for many years as a technical engineer for AHK. He was saved as a young boy at Beaver Dam United Baptist Church and later joined Fairview United Baptist Church, where he remained a member. His upbringing and spiritual foundation shaped the way he treated others with love and respect. 

Chris was known for his culinary talents, particularly his love for cooking and grilling BBQ, that he often shared with family and friends. His green thumb shone through in his gardening endeavors, where he found solace in nurturing plants and flowers. Above all, Chris cherished his relationship with his special nephews, showing immense pride and devotion in their lives. 

Besides his wife, Chrise, he leaves to honor his memory— his special nephews and niece, Amberly Seabolt of North Carolina, Aiden Seabolt of Chalybeate and Tayt Seabolt of Bee Spring; his siblings, Brad Richards (Julie) Rockfield and Pam Renfro of Brownsville, along with several other nephews, nieces and cousins. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Earl Richards.

 Interment will be in Vincent Cemetery.
