Chlorene Houchin,age 94, of Brownsville, died Sunday, February 20, 2011 in Brownsville. She was born in Edmonson County to the late William Nelson Houchin and the late Lue Clark Houchin on May 25, 1916 and wife of the late Rumsey Forest "Pap" Houchin. She was a homemaker and a member of Brownsville Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Judy Renfro and Terry Houchin both of Brownsville,KY; three granddaughters, Pam Webb (Butch) of Alvaton, KY, Beverly Bledsoe (Steve) of Glasgow, KY and Cindy White (Lanny) of Smiths Grove, KY; seven great grandchildren, Alicia Edwards (Kerry), Ashley Edwards (Brad), Landon White, Ben Bledsoe, Asutin Webb, Jeremy Webb and Faith White; three great grandchildren; one brother, Charlie Houchin (Darlene) of Tampa, FL; three sisters, Jewell Patrick, Dean Madison and Yvonne VanMeter all of Bowling Green, KY. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Houchin; three brothers, Mack Houchin, Rumsey Houchin and Truman Houchin. Services will be officiated by Bro. Steve Bledsoe with burial in the Brownsville cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Edmonson Health Care Activities Fund, 813 S. Main St., Brownsville, KY 42210.
