Charlie Hawks

Charlie M. "C.M." Hawks, 78 of Wingfield, KY passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at his residence. He was born January 16, 1935,  the son of the late Gilbert and  the late Zelda Rhodes Hawks. He was a well respected member of his community. He was a carpenter most of his life. In the last few years of his life, he enjoyed going to the local grocery store to drink coffee and visit with friends.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Annette "Ann" Shultz Hawks of Wingfield, KY; six children, Sherry Womack (Jim) of Bowling Green, KY, Randy Hawks (Penney) of Wingfield, KY, Teresa Dawson (Buck) of Scottsville, KY, Mark Hawks of Paducah, Lisa Hawks (Mike) of Chalybeate, KY, Jill Herron (Tony) of Alvaton, KY; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; one sister, Glenna Dorris Padgett of Lafayette, IN and one brother, H. G. Hawks (Judy) of Pine Grove, KY.Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by eight sisters, one brother and one great grandson.

Burial will be in the Wingfield Church Cemetery with Bro. Michael John Lindsey officiating.
