Charles "Eddie" Sanders
1944-2022
Charles “Eddie” Sanders, age 77 of Brownsville, departed this life on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Edmonson County native was born on March 11, 1944 to the late Charles Owen and Bertha J. Hester Sanders. He was married to his loving wife, Norma Lee Sanders, until her passing on October 2, 2009.
Eddie was a self-employed carpenter, and a member of Fairview United Baptist Church.
He leaves to honor his memory— his son, Dwayne Sanders (Sherry) of Mammoth Cave; two daughters, Bridgette Hester (Bobby) and Lisa Cox (Charles) all of Brownsville; three grandchildren, Brandon Hester, Sean Sanders (Sylvia) and Brittany Hix (Houston); three step-grandchildren, Jessica McGrew (Lannie), Maggie Cox and Charly Cox; two brothers, Kenny Sanders (Nancy) of Brownsville and Jimmy Dean Sanders (Sherry) of Bee Spring, and a host of friends and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Sanders.
Interment will be in the Fairview Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be to: Fairview Church Cemetery Fund c/o Kenny Sanders, 8519 Brownsville Rd, Brownsville, KY 42210.
