Charles Skaggs

Charles Howard Skaggs, age 68 of Brownsville, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008 in Bowling Green. He was born March 7, 1940 in Edmonson County to the late Claudie R. and Hazel L. Lindsey Skaggs. He was a retired tool and dye worker for American Chain and Cable and a member of Beaver Dam Chapel United Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Doris Jean Skaggs of Brownsville; three sons, Bradley Skaggs (Penny) of Chalybeate, Brian Skaggs (Sasha) of Bowling Green and Shawn Skaggs of Brownsville; one daughter, Rebecca Merideth (Stacy) of Alvaton; two sisters, Mary Rose Steele (George) of Bowling Green and Shilrey Vincent of Bowling Green; six grandchildren, Alston, B.J., Morgan, Brianna and Addison Skaggs and Lee Merideth. Services will be officiated by Bro. Wayne Nolan with burial in the Hawkins Cemetery.
