Charlen Adwell Skaggs, age 75 of Park City, KY, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 in Glasgow, KY. She was born on May 17, 1941 in Warren County, KY, to the late James Earl Adwell and Minnie Myrtle Martin Adwell. She was married to the late Ernest Wallace Skaggs.

Charlen was a waitress and worked for Brock Hotel, Holiday Inn, Park Mammoth Resort, and Sahara Steakhouse. She was also a member of Park City Baptist Church.

She leaves to honor memory one son, Roy Wallace Skaggs of Park City, KY; three daughters, Debbie Lynn Easto, Linda Faye Lewis, Dianna Lee Proffitt (James) all of Cave City, KY; two sisters, Velma Raymer of Brownsville, KY, Wanda Doyle (J.B.) of Park City, KY; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Penny Faye Lewis, one brother, Jr. Earl Adwell, two sisters, Brenda Sue Hays and Eva Hudson.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
