Carol Lindsey

Carol Ann Campbell Lindsey, age 67 of Brownsville, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at her residence.The Edmonson county native was born April 1, 1944, the daughter of the late Owen Campbell and the late Mae Johnson Campbell and was married to James Clifford Lindsey, who survives.  She is also survived by two daughters:  Lisa Carder (Billy) of Smiths Grove, KY and Cindy Hopper (Dale) of Roundhill, KY; three brothers, Wayne Campbell (Jannie), Danny Campbell (Margie) and Dallas Campbell (Kathy) all of Brownsville, KY; five sisters, Edna Denham of Brownsville, KY; Elizabeth Lay of Big Clifty, KY; Ethel Campbell and Jeanetta Cowles (Bobby) both of Louisville, KY  and Geretta Ray of Brownsville, KY; one sister-in-law, Yvonne Campbell and  28 nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Emmett Campbell; three brothers-in-law, Conard Denham, Billy Ray and Leonard Lay. Burial will be  in the Oak Grove Church Cemetery with Bro. Vernon Johnson and Bro. Jason Alexander officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
