Carl Ashley, Jr

Carl Lee Ashley, Jr., age 60 of Bee Spring, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2007 at his residence. The Edmonson County native was born January 31, 1947 to the late Carl Lee "Sal" Ashley, Sr. and Mary Charles McGrew Ashley who survives. He was a painter and a member of Bee Spring Missionary Baptist Church. He is also survived by his wife, Laura Jean Ashley of Bee Spring; seven daughters, Denise Saling and husband Kevin of Bee Spring, Carla Davis of Murfreesboro, TN., Shawn Napper of Bowling Green, Sue Ann Pedigo and husband Robert of Windyville, Samantha Baker of Arizona, Chelsie and Carly Ashley of Bee Spring; three brothers, Ray Ashley of Mammoth Cave, Damonand Mark Ashley of Bee Spring; seven sisters, Pat Poteet, Carolyn Salings, Mary Helen Pate all of Bee Spring, Pam Durbin of Sunfish, Martha Booth of Windyville, Jeanette Kirby of Bowling Green and Maxine White of Sunfish and seven grandchildren. Services will be officiated by Bro. Essie Hayes with burial in the Bee Spring Church Cemetery.
