Bonnie Poteet

Bonnie Poteet, 89 of Wingfield passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 at her residence. She was a homemaker and member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

The Grayson County native was born February 14, 1923 to the late Grover C. Logsdon and the late Artie Sermons Logsdon and the wife of the late Barnie R. Poteet.

She is survived by two daughters: Dorothy Glass and Donna Simmons (Bennie) both of Wingfield; four grandchildren: Floyd Glass (Cherry), Sheila Simmons, Tammy Pandolfi (James) and Shawn Glass (Shannon); one brother: Raymond Logsdon of Wingfield; one sister Syble Whitaker of Sunnyside; eleven great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Gordon Glass; great grandson, Andrew Basham; brother, Jessie Logsdon and two sisters, Ruby Poteet and Sylvia Whitaker.

Bro. Bobby Joe Meredith will be officiating. Interment will be in the Wingfield Church Cemetery.
