1937 - 2022

Mr. Bobby Estil Wilson, age 85, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 31, 2022. Bobby was born in Brownsville, Kentucky on November 19, 1937, to the late James “Doc” Wilson and Ora “Burns” Wilson. Bobby retired from General Electric after 40 years of service with perfect attendance. He was an extremely hard worker; from age 20 till his passing, he worked in construction and building homes. He was saved at Brownsville Baptist Church at the age of 17 and was a member of the Radiant Life Church of God. He was a great man of God, loved by many, knew no strangers, and would give you the shirt off his back. He was also known for his wonderful sense of humor, his laughter, and his jokes. Bobby will be truly missed by his family and all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memory,  his wife of 16 years, Mary Lee Wilson; two daughters, Belinda “Lynn” Hestla (Jamie) and Anna “Billie” Miller (Tim); two bonus sons, Terry Freeman (Gina) and Christian Freeman (Connie); grandchildren, Anthony Wilson (Michelle), B.J. Wilson (Debbie), Carmelita Knapp (Bill), Tracy Clark (Travis), Rex Toler (Alisha), Tyler Toler (Aubrey), Crystal Wilson, Amber Freeman, Deuce Freeman, Zachary Freeman, Daniel Freeman, Matt Freeman, Noah Miller (Alyssa), Timothy Miller (Morgan) and Amber Barnhart (Jesse); numerous great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Arthur Wilson, and his two brothers Aven Wilson, and Leslie Wilson.

The interment will be in Hawkins Cemetery.
