Bluford Madison

Bluford W. "B.W." Madison, age 80 of Louisville, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2007 at his residence. The Edmonson County native was born October 4, 1926 to the late Ezra and Elnora Wilson Madison and married to the late Mary E. Houchin Madison. He owned multiple service stations in the Louisville area and was a member of Beaver Dam United Baptist Church, Suburban Masonic Lodge #740 F&AM and a 32nd Degree Shriner, he was also the past president of the Kentucky Gasoline Dealers Association and a World War II Navy veteran. He is survived by one son, Terry Madison of Louisville; one daughter, Vicki Madison of Louisville; two granddaughters, Stephanie Renee and Elizabeth Nicole Madison of Louisville; one sister, Ellen Slaughter of Louisville and one brother Rev. Ray Madison of Louisville. Services and visitation are being held at Fern Creek Funeral Home 5406 Bardstown Rd., Louisville, KY. Bro. Jerry B. Patton will be officiating with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
