Blanche Skaggs Demunbrun, 104, of Glasgow formerly of Brownsville, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in Glasgow. She was born Oct. 24, 1907 in Edmonson Co., KY to the late Noah M. and Elizabeth Ann McCrady Skaggs. She was the wife of the late Truman H. Demunbrun, a homemaker, a member of Glasgow Baptist Church and The Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her two daughters-in-law, Lou Demunbrun of Glasgow and Dr. Donne Harmon (Don) of Louisville; eight grandchildren, Alexis Bowman (Kenny), Michelle Demunbrun, Steve Demunbrun (Gretchen), Murphy Demunbrun Jr. (Lori), Julie Demunbrun, Suzanne Gilmore (Steve), Charlotte Glass (Larry) and Tim Demunbrun; two brothers, James Skaggs of Louisville and Donald Skaggs (Dorothy) of Fairborn Ohio, seventeen great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Dr. T.W. Demunbrun and Murphy M. Demunbrun, a grandson Michael Demunbrun and great-granddaughter Katherine Webb.
Services will be officiated by Dr. Bill Whittaker with burial in Brownsville Cemetery.
