1960 - 2022

Billy Willis, age 62 of Brownsville, departed this life on Friday, November 4, 2022 at his home.  The Edmonson County native was born on May 18, 1960 to Mary F. Willis and the late Virgil Dallas Willis, Sr.

Billy was saved as a young boy and was a member of New Home General Baptist Church.  He loved fishing, listening to Elvis, working puzzles and putting model cars together.

Besides his mother, Mary, he leaves to honor his memory— two brothers, Dallas Willis, Jr. (Marilyn) of White House, TN and Rickey Willis of Brownsville; a sister, LuWanda Brooks (Brad) of Brownsville; four nieces and nephews, Alyssa Brooks, Chris Holt (Sabrina), Brittany Turney (Steven) and Jeramy Willis (Laura).  In addition to his dad, he was also preceded in death by his nephew, Levi Willis.

Memorial contributions can be made to: Norton Children’s Hospital, 231 E. Chestnut St., Louisville, KY 40202.

Interment will be in New Home Church Cemetery.
