Bill Houchens, age 74 of Cave City, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2008 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was born December 12, 1933 in Barren County to the late John F. and Verda Robertson Houchens. He was a retired meat manager for Houchens and a member of Cave City Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Annette E. Houchens of Cave City; three sons, Billy Houchens of Eufala, AL, Mike Houchens of Cave City and Kevin Houchens (Martha) of Cave City; three brothers, James Houchens (Josephine) of Glasgow, Paul Houchens (Jean) of Park City and Eddie Houchens of Park City; four sisters, Margie Brewster (J.A.) of Mission, TX, Sarah Nichols of Park City, Carol Rich (Darrell) of Red Croos and Marcie Robertson of Bon Ayr; six grandchildren, April Littlefield, Shawn Houchens, Nickolas Houchens, Jessica Estes, Lee Mauk and Ryan Houchens; five great grandchildren, Bailey Estes, Landen Houchens, Parker Littlefield, Gracie Estes and Kaiden Houchens; two aunts, Marceline Adkinson and Aline Hewitt. Services will be officiated by Bro. Dennis Hudgins with burial in the Cave City cemetery.
